Compax at the Cleaners' Day 2022

We recently had the privilege of attending 'Renholdernes Dag' (The Cleaners' Day), an event held in Lillestrøm, Norway, and organized by the Viken County Municipality. This day was dedicated to the celebration of cleaners, the positive, engaged, and skillful professionals who often work behind the scenes but play a critical role in our daily lives. We were inspired by the many conversations we had with the wonderful attendees. Your work is incredibly important, often overlooked, and we applaud you. You are fantastic!

At the event, we were fortunate to hear from a line-up of talented speakers, each sharing their unique perspectives:

1. Hannah Wozene Kvam, who spoke about the diversity within Viken County Municipality. She highlighted the fact that the municipality is home to over 40 different nationalities, a testament to its rich cultural diversity.
2. Nora Johanne Klungseth, who focused on adaptability and continuous learning in the workplace. We were honored to be mentioned in her presentation and are grateful for the recognition.
3. Pellegrino Riccardi, a keynote speaker with over 30 years of experience, delivered an inspiring presentation that evoked a range of emotions in the audience, from joy and fear to sorrow and belonging.

We also want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all those who completed their Cleaning School and received their trade certificates. Your achievement is a testament to your dedication and hard work.

The event was superbly organized by Rujira Coles and the rest of the cleaning section. We would like to express our gratitude for the invitation and are already looking forward to next year's event. A massive thank you to the Viken County Municipality for hosting such an enriching and celebratory event!

Let us continue to celebrate the people who keep our environments clean and safe, recognizing their contributions not just on special occasions, but every day. Here's to our unsung heroes, the cleaners. You truly are fantastic!
